Vernier Springs & Pressings prides it self on the quality of its product and delivery of goods on time all over the world.

Approved to IS0 9001 in Oct 91 the company quickly saw the benefit of operating a good Quality Management System. Through Verniers commitment to never ending improvements the company were approved to QS9000 in Mar 97. Vernier were only the second spring and presswork company to achieve this award and were one of only 170 companies approved world wide by the BSI. Vernier gained approval to ISO/TS 16949 in May 2004 becoming the first UK spring & presswork company to achieve this standard.

To compliment the quality system the company were awarded Investor in people in Sept 98. This underlined that the development of Verniers employees was imperative to the continued growth of the company.

With ever increasing awareness of the environment Vernier are currently working towards obtaining ISO 14001. The environment manual is in place and approval should be gained within the next twelve months.

As technology is seen by Vernier as the way forward the computer software package called Powerway has been introduced to improve the function and paper work of the Quality operations within the company. Like Vantage it completely controls the quality system ensuring that only current issue specifications are used and that all calibrations and validations are up to date.
