Environmental Policy
The vernier Springs Co. Limited recognises the necessity to develop and maintain a continually improving Environmental Performance, this system will be based on ISO 14001 1996.
It is the policy of Vernier Springs to:
- Conduct its operations in accordance with, or to exceed, all applicable environmental laws and regulations pertinent to our business.
- Evaluate its operation at least annually in order to ensure continual improvements of its environmental performance.
- Prevent adverse impacts from company operations on the health and safety of company employees, and on the health and safety of the communities of which we are part.
- To reduce or eliminate waste throughout our activities and practices where practicable.
- Set appropriate environmental objectives and targets
- Ensure appropriate training is provided for all our staff to complement their performance in respect to our Environmental Management System
This policy covers all activities associated with the production of springs and pressings and utilises best practicable environmental options that are currently available and are considered cost effective.
This policy is available to the public by written request from the Environmental Manager.
